So… RANDOM. A house. A Contemporary, clean-line, house, tho’. One that from the outside is reminiscent of one of the couple of houses owned by 9 by Design on HGTV. No. I don’t watch that channel. But, my mom does. And so, coincidently, this is one of the few shows I actually take joy in. Well, did. I’m pretty sure it’s off the air, now. Oh, well. No more HGTV for me. And what do I like about this house? I’m a very Contemporary chick. I love the outside, but the inside is a little too Traditional (Or beige and brown) for me. Just give me the house. I’ll worry about decorating it after the fact. Ciao! Found on Flud.
Wow. Now, the Fail Whale IS awesome (and annoying), and I wouldn’t mind having it as a desktop wallpaper, but these people took it to the extreme. Lol. Who put the Fail Whale in the game, Second Life? Lol. Where did that hat come from and where can I get some cake? Lol. And even though it does make for a pretty cute tattoo… I don’t know. And let’s not forget all the work that person put into creating the necklace (really cool, btw). It’s like the Fail Whale is the next Betty White. You guys are aware that there is a Betty White comic book, right? Cracks me up. Anyway, as annoying as it is to be told that “Twitter is Over Capacity”, at least we have the awesome Fail Whale to look at while we’re momentarily pissed off on our way to checking up on Twitter Status.
The color of this thing is amazing. Yeah, it looks a little old-fashioned. But, isn’t that the point? Who says Vintage and Modern can’t mix. I happen to think they work quite well together. And this is my blog, so whatever I say goes. Just. Kidding. I’m not that childish. I know how to share. But, I do think you all should agree with me on this one and go ahead and get your own Gigi Nightstand straight from Urban Outfitters!
This would go precisely right at the foot of the chocolate-colored Malm Ikea mainframe I would call my bed. As you can tell from all things in this blog, I love color… in everything. And pieces of furniture are no exception. The bench of course, opens and also comes in other colors and an alternate material. Personally, I chose orange (or whatever they’re callin’ it) and tweed, a material I would only let my furniture wear and that’s only because I normally hate it. It goes perfectly with the Urban and Modern theme I am trying to create. This item can be purchased at Urban Outfitters.
This vintage-looking USB turntable would be awesome just as apartment room decor. Perfect for the Deejay hoarder or even a gift for your mom, provided you can find somn’ to go on the turntable. Again. Who still has records? I gotta stop posting these things. I can’t help it. I LIKE ’em. Urban Outfitters is where ya’ get it.
I just found out something about myself. I love OWLS… in art that is. I don’t know if it’s the new fashion in decor and accessories or what, but I’m starting to see a lot of ’em out there on every site I happen to visit. And I LIKE ’em. So go ahead and get your share of owlage at Anthropologie with this Wise Ol’ owl of a cookie jar.
As if I’d even use any; but just for show, these coasters definitely pop. Hmmm…. how much do I actually care about water rings on the table? They do usually wash right off. But hey, these are really pretty and they’d look really great sitting on any one of my tables even if it’s just as just room decor. These are currently available through Anthropologie.
